Arriving to a shift in the requested dress code is important, whether that's to ensure that you’re safe to work or because the role requires a formal dress for the environment your working in e.g. behind a cocktail bar or at banqueting suite.
Clients may send you home if you do not wear their requested attire or don’t meet the required grooming standards. If this is the case, you won’t receive any payment for that shift. Make sure you fully read the job description and check the dress code requirements on the app when accepting a job.
