Cleaner

Note: This job is for Indeed Flex, but will take place at a client's worksite.

Cleaners - York (YO10)

Pay: £14.24 per hour (includes £1.53 holiday pay)

Shifts: 9am - 3:30pm | Tuesday - Friday

*Please note, this is a 4-6 week shift assignment. You will be required to work the above shift pattern for those weeks.

About the role

We are recruiting Cleaners to support a client in York during the busy summer period. This role involves cleaning studio apartment accommodation including bathroom and kitchen. You will need to complete a Basic DBS check for this position.

Responsibilities

• Deep clean bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas
• Strip and remake beds
• Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness standards
• Follow all health and safety procedures
• Safely use cleaning equipment and materials
• Report maintenance, safety, or welfare concerns promptly
• Deliver excellent customer service to students and visitors

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months’ experience working as a cleaner
• Must be aged 18 or over with the right to work in the UK
• Willingness to complete a Basic DBS check
• Available to commit to the shift pattern as shown on the job description above
• Strong customer service skills
