Cleaners - Milton Keynes (MK3)

Pay: £14.24 per hour (includes £1.53 holiday pay)

About the role

We're looking for an experienced Cleaners to join our team for shifts at a healthcare facility in Milton Keynes.

Please note, you must complete a DBS Standard (free of charge) for this position.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering a high-quality domestic cleaning service across wards, departments, clinics and health centres, maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for patients, staff and visitors.
• Carrying out routine, deep, clinical, admission and infection-control cleaning in line with cleaning specifications, colour-coding systems, Trust procedures and relevant legislation, including floor care, carpet and mat cleaning, curtain handling and low-level window cleaning.
• Safely managing waste and cleaning materials, including correct waste segregation, bagging and labelling, and the safe and economical use of approved chemicals in accordance with COSHH, manufacturer instructions and company procedures.
• Operating, maintaining and safely storing cleaning equipment and machinery, reporting defects promptly and removing faulty equipment from service; use appropriate PPE and maintain high standards of personal hygiene and professional presentation.
• Working collaboratively as part of the team, maintaining patient confidentiality and positive working relationships, completing required training and audits, and promptly reporting accidents, incidents, hazards and health and safety concerns.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months experience working as a Cleaner.
• Must be 18 or over and have the right to work in the UK.
• Must complete a DBS Standard (free of charge).
• Team player.
• Great communication skills.
