Cleaners - Cardiff (CF10)

Pay: £14.24 per hour (includes £1.53holiday pay)

Shifts: 5am - 7:30am

About the role

We're looking for an experienced Cleaners to join our team for shifts at a university in Cardiff.

Please note, you must complete a DBS Basic (free of charge) for this position.

In this role, your responsibilities may include:

• Carry out daily cleaning duties across university premises, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, wiping surfaces, cleaning toilets, emptying bins and replenishing supplies.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, use authorised cleaning products correctly, and ensure adequate stock levels of cleaning materials.
• Complete termly and annual deep cleans of classrooms, staffrooms, kitchens, dining areas and other university facilities, including high-level dusting and floor maintenance.
• Maintain health and safety standards by following COSHH and manual handling procedures, wearing appropriate PPE, displaying wet floor signs, and reporting hazards or equipment faults promptly.
• Ensure building security by checking windows and doors, switching off lights, working effectively as part of a team, and attending training as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months experience working as a Cleaner.
• Must be 18 or over and have the right to work in the UK.
• Must complete a DBS Basic (free of charge).
• Team player.
• Great communication skills.
