Warehouse Team Leader

Warehouse Team Leader - Enfield

Job: Full-time | 37.5hrs

Pay: £29,000 - £31,000 per year

Shifts: Any 7.5hrs between 7am - 6pm | 5 days a week | Occasional Sundays will be required

We're looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to support London's largest food redistribution charity - and the biggest of its kind in Europe.

As the Warehouse Team Lead, you will oversee daily depot operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and high standards of customer service while leading and supporting the team with a positive, can-do approach.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support a team of staff and volunteers in operating a chilled and ambient food warehouse
• Manage relationships with community organisations and ensure excellent service delivery
• Use the Warehouse Management System accurately and effectively
• Move and organise stock using pallet trucks and manual handling where required
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficiently run warehouse environment
• Deliver daily briefings to staff and volunteers, setting priorities and key updates
• Carry out regular stock counts and maintain inventory accuracy
• Manage product recalls in line with procedures and compliance standards
• Resolve day-to-day operational issues and support continuous workflow
• Oversee Goods In, Warehouse Management, and Goods Out processes
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations across the team
• Support route planning activities where required
• Train, develop, and support staff and volunteers in their roles

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months’ experience working as a Team Leader in an industrial environment.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must be 18 or over with the right to work in the UK.
