Food Production Operatives – Day Shifts – Scunthorpe (DN15)

Salary: £13.68 per hour (inclusive of £1.47 holiday pay)

Shifts: 7am – Finish | Full-time | Temp to Perm opportunity
**Shift end times may vary any time from 4pm-6pm.

About the role

We're hiring Food Production Operatives to support our client’s busy operation in Scunthorpe. This is a fantastic opportunity if you’re looking for a stable, long-term position in a fast-paced food production environment. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring products are packed accurately, safely, and to the highest quality standards, helping the team meet daily production targets and maintain an efficient production process.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months experience working in a food production role
• Ability to lift up to 25kg
• Complete Food Safety Level 2 and Allergens certificates
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
• Great attention to detail, ensuring produce meets the highest standards
• Excellent numeracy skills
• Commitment to food safety and hygiene

Responsibilities:

• Retrieve products from the machine and accurately pack them into 10kg bags.
• Securely seal the bags and stack them on pallets in line with stacking guidelines.
• Perform visual inspections on products and bags to verify quality and safety standards.
• Work efficiently to achieve daily production targets and deadlines.
• Keep the packing area clean and maintain high hygiene standards.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
