Events Waiting Staff

Event Waiting Staff – Newport (NP18)

Pay: £14.24 per hour (inclusive of £1.53 holiday pay)

We're looking for enthusiastic and experienced Waiting Staff to support a variety of exciting events in Newport. From large-scale conferences and exhibitions to gala dinners and corporate functions, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences.

What you'll be doing

• Providing a warm and professional welcome to guests.
• Taking food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serving meals and beverages to a high standard.
• Preparing event spaces, including table setup and presentation.
• Clearing and resetting tables throughout service.
• Maintaining excellent cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Supporting colleagues to ensure events run smoothly from start to finish.

What we're looking for

• At least 6 months' experience working as a waiter/ waitress.
• A positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
• Confidence working in busy, fast-paced event environments.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be 18+ and have the right to work in the UK.
