Cleaner

Cleaners - Brighton

Pay: £14.24 per hour (includes £1.53 holiday pay)

Shifts: 9am - 3pm | Monday to Friday | Occasional weekends required

About the role

We are recruiting Cleaners to support a university in Brighton. This role involves preparing student accommodation and campus facilities for the upcoming academic year through high-quality deep cleaning services.

Please note, you will be required to complete a Basic DBS check for this position (free of charge).

Responsibilities

• Deep clean bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas
• Strip and remake beds
• Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness standards
• Follow all health and safety procedures
• Safely use cleaning equipment and materials
• Report maintenance, safety, or welfare concerns promptly
• Deliver excellent customer service to students and visitors

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months’ experience working as a cleaner
• Must be aged 18 or over with the right to work in the UK
• Willingness to complete a Basic DBS check
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to move loads up to 10kg safely
