About the role
As a Count Manager at Tesco, you’ll lead the store inventory process, ensuring accurate stock counts and resolving discrepancies promptly. You will conduct team briefings, focus on high-value areas, and oversee final reporting and documentation.
Shift patterns
- Night shifts | 10pm – 8am
- 5 nights per week | 40hrs
Inventory day responsibilities
On a day-to-day basis, your main duties will include:
- Conducting a walk-through to ensure all prep work is complete
- Delivering a clear and focused team briefing at the start of inventory
- Making sure colleagues compete at least 10% of checks, across departments
- Releasing variances as soon as department counts are completed and verified
- Uploading the count, once complete, with the Store Manager/STC
