Upcoming update to UK Flexer Terms

Last updated on 10 October 2025

1. Why are the terms being updated?

We’ve updated the UK Flexer Terms to improve clarity, ensure legal compliance, and reflect how the platform works today.

2. When will the new terms take effect?

The updated terms took effect as of the 8th October 2025. You’ll be prompted to review and accept them in the app.

3. Do I need to do anything?

Yes. You’ll need to review and accept the updated terms in the app. This is a quick process and must be completed to continue using the platform.

4. What’s changed in the new terms?

The main changes include:

  • Clearer language for better understanding
  • Updates to reflect platform functionality
  • Improved compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • No changes affect your core rights as a Flexer.

5. What happens if I don’t accept the new terms?

Acceptance must be confirmed by the 10th November 2025, as of this date you won’t be able to continue using the platform until you accept the updated terms.

6. Why do I need to accept the new terms to continue using the app?

Accepting the updated terms ensures that your rights are protected and that we remain compliant with current UK employment laws and regulatory requirements. It’s an important step to make sure that you are operating under the most updated terms of engagement.

7. How can I view the updated terms?

You’ll be able to review the full terms in the app once they go live, and they will also be published on our website.

8. Will my pay rate or holiday entitlement change under the new terms?

No. Your pay rate is set by assignment, and your statutory holiday entitlement remains unchanged. The updates simply clarify how these are calculated and paid.

9. Are there any changes to how statutory rights (e.g.,sick pay, maternity/paternity leave) are applied?

No. Your statutory rights remain the same. The new terms simply explain them more clearly

10. Is there any impact on my employment status (e.g., contract for services vs. employment contract)?

No. You will continue to work with Flex under a contract for services, not a contract of employment. This remains unchanged.

11. Who can I contact if I don’t understand a clause in the new terms?

You can contact the support team via the live chat function within the app; they will escalate your query accordingly to the relevant team responsible for providing further clarification.

12. Where can I get a copy of the updated document for my records?

To access the Terms and Conditions in the App: Go to Profile > Onboarding > Onboarding documents > Key Information & Terms and Conditions to sign them.

Once signed, your copy will stay saved there.

You can also view them anytime under Profile > Settings > Terms & Conditions in the App, or on our website under ‘Flexer Terms’
