We have a new feature which allows you to unlock a greater range of available roles through an in-app assessment.
Once verified, the roles will be immediately available to you and you’ll see more shifts in the app. The new feature applies to the following roles:
- Picker packer
- Kitchen Porter
- Warehouse operative
- Online Order Assistant
- Replenishment Assistant
How does it work?
- Update the Indeed Flex app to the latest version
- Go to your profile and select “Skills & Experiences”
- Select “show more” under a role to see all the available roles within the app
- Select one of the above roles you’d like to be auto-verified for
- Take the in-app skills assessment to confirm you have the necessary skills for the job
Once you complete these steps, you’ll be verified for the role(s) and have access to more shifts in the app.
I can’t see the role I want to get verified for on my profile.
Select the pencil icon on the top right hand-side of the Skills and Experiences page, where you’ll be able to review the industries and the roles available. Highlight the roles you are interested in and it will be added to your profile. After it’s added – follow the steps above to get verified for those roles.
Can I get verified for Professional Services roles?
We are currently not verifying flexers for any of the professional services roles as there are no shifts available. Of course, we’ll let you know when we expand to this sector.
I failed the assessment, what should I do?
Revisit the learning materials to ensure you have all the necessary skills required for the role. Then retake the assessment at your leisure.
Will there be more roles available for self-verification in the future?
We are working to expand our learning and assessment offering to make it even easier for you to find work. Self-verification for Waiting Staff, Festival Staff and Bar Back is coming soon.
My CV shows I’ve done these roles before, do I still need to do the assessment?
Yes, we’ll need to see proven experience in the form of a successful assessment.
I’ve passed the assessment but I don’t see any new jobs
It’s possible that there are no shifts for that role available in your area currently. Now you’ve been verified, you’ll be able to see as soon as shifts do become available in your area.
