Delivery Driver

Note: This job is for Indeed Flex, but will take place at a client's worksite.

Delivery Drivers - Southampton (SO40)

Pay: £14.74 per hour (including £1.59 holiday pay)

Shifts: 7:30am start times | Casual shifts

Are you an experienced, reliable driver who wants more than just a job? We're hiring Delivery Drivers to support a food redistribution operation across Southampton.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will ensure surplus food is safely collected and delivered to charities while maintaining high operational and service standards.

• Safely operate delivery vehicles in compliance with UK road laws and company procedures
• Load, unload, and handle food products with care, ensuring quality and safety standards
• Follow assigned delivery and collection routes, completing all required documentation accurately
• Support warehouse operations when required
• Collaborate effectively with team members and volunteers
• Unload empty crates/rubbish at the end of your shift and put in the correct area of the yard/warehouse
• Maintain vehicle standards (checks, cleaning) and report any issues or incidents promptly

Requirements:

• Must be 21 or over
• Full UK driving licence (held for 2+ years, driven at least 60 days in the past 6 months)
• No more than 6 points on licence
• No driving bans in the last 5 years
• No drink/drug-related driving bans in the last 11 years
• Excellent communication and attention to detail
• Physically capable of loading/unloading deliveries
• Passion for making a positive impact in the community
