Hygiene Operative - Long Term Opportunity - Weekly Pay

Salary: £14.92 per hour (inclusive of £1.61 holiday pay)

Shifts: 4 on 4 off

• Monday - Thursday | 6am - 6pm
• Friday - Monday | 6pm - 6am

About the role

This position is based in a food manufacturing environment and as a Hygiene Operative, you will play a key part in ensuring it is a safe, clean environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning in a food factory to a level of excellence against food industry standards.
• This role may require the use of heavy industrial equipment, specialist chemicals and working at heights.
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures, including the correct use of PPE, cleaning equipment, and chemicals in line with COSHH guidelines.
• Accurately complete cleaning records and report any maintenance issues, hazards, incidents, or incomplete tasks to the supervisor.
• Adhere to company and client policies, maintaining a professional appearance, positive attitude, and commitment to workplace safety at all times.

Requirements:

• Must have at least 6 months of experience working as a hygiene operative/ cleaner in an industrial or food manufacturing environment.
• Must be 18 or over with the right to work in the UK.
• Must be able to commit to one of the shift patterns on a long term basis.
