How ratings work

5 stars

You’re happy with the Flexer and would happily have them back for another shift. Rating 5 stars helps you to retain workers, building lasting and trusted relationships.

This automatically adds the Flexer to your pool, which you can access through the ‘Flexers’ tab.

4 stars

You’re content to have them return but prefer not to offer them first choice on shifts. We recommend using this sparingly, it’s much quicker to fill a shift if you have more workers in your pool! If you would rather this worker back tomorrow, rather than someone new, rate them 5 stars.

The worker isn’t added to your worker pool and will only see your shifts if you select ‘Let Flex do the work.’

3 stars

You were not happy with the Flexer’s performance and do not want them to return to your venue in any role.

This removes the Flexer from future shifts (even if it was a different role) across all roles and blocks their access to view future shifts.

2 stars

There has been some misconduct that you need to raise to Indeed Flex.

Indeed Flex will investigate all workers marked as 2 stars. This removes the Flexer from future shifts across all roles and blocks their access to view future shifts.

1 star

There has been some gross misconduct that you need to raise to Indeed Flex.

Indeed Flex will investigate all workers marked as 1 star. Removes the Flexer from future shifts (even if it was a different role) across all roles and blocks their access to view future shifts.

Rate your teams

We’ve just added a Rate team option to the Job Listing Timesheets page in the platform – making it easy for you to rate all workers from a shift in one click.

Please note, when rating a team 3 stars or lower, they will all receive the chosen rating, but workers will not be blocked. Should you require the blocking of a worker, this must be actioned through the individual rating functionality. If a worker is listed as a no show; you will not be able to rate them.

FAQs

When is the best time to rate a worker?

We recommend rating workers when you are approving their timesheets. The strict deadline to approve timesheets for the previous working week is on Tuesday at 11:59 pm. It’s best practice to complete timesheets daily, if possible, to improve accuracy

Ultimately, you should rate workers at a time that works for and is convenient for you.

What goes into rating a worker?

Providing an informed rating for your worker helps everyone get the most from the Indeed Flex platform. It helps workers to get more job opportunities, helps clients to find out more about a worker, and builds stronger relationships between workers and employers.

Clients should consider the following when rating a worker:

  1. Worker pool: Would you be happy for this worker to return?
  2. Timekeeping: Did the worker arrive on time?
  3. Appearance: Did the worker have the right uniform?
  4. Skills: Did the worker have the right skills for the job?

How does the rating impact the worker?

Workers have their average rating displayed on their verified worker profiles. When employers are choosing a worker, the rating is a good indicator of their skills and experience.

If you rate a worker 5 stars, they are added to your pool. Workers will see your job first and are more likely to return.

What should I do if I’ve had a bad experience with a worker?

If you’ve had a bad experience, you can rate the worker 3 stars or lower, depending on the severity. This removes the Flexer from future shifts (even if it was a different role) and blocks them from seeing shifts.

Please leave feedback in the comments box so we can follow up with the worker and take action if needed. The worker will not be able to see any comments.

If there is a situation of misconduct or gross misconduct, the worker should be rated 2 or 1 stars.
