Delivery Driver/Depot Assistants (Hybrid)

Note: This job is for Indeed Flex, but will take place at a client's worksite.

Indeed Flex are hiring experienced delivery drivers!

We are looking for an experienced Delivery Driver/Depot Assistants (Hybrid) to support our client, The Felix Project, London's biggest food redistribution charity and the largest end-to-end food redistribution charity in Europe.

Rate of pay: £12.18 per hour
*Plus holiday pay accrued at a rate of 12.07%

Shift pattern: Shift basis 5 days out of 7 (Mon-Sun). Any 7.5h between 07:00 and 19:00.

Start date: 16th December 2024

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving vans for food collection and delivery.
• Organising and sorting food deliveries within the depot.
• Loading/unloading stock safely at depots and partner locations.
• Supporting team activities to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence (held for at least 2 year and driven at least 60 days in the last 6 months, no more than 6 points).
• Cannot have been banned from driving for any reason within the last 5 years.
• Cannot have been banned from driving for a drink or drug related offence in the last 11 years.
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Ability to perform physical work.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Commitment to reducing food waste and supporting food poverty initiatives.
• You MUST bring your Right to Work and driving licence to your virtual interview.
