We’re nothing without our Flexers. Your hard work and dedication makes us what we are, so we’re always looking to find out what we can do to improve your experience with us. We’re delighted that over 150 of you took the time to complete our first Flexer Experience survey, sharing your thoughts around working with Indeed Flex. As always, you talk, we listen. So what did you have to say?
What do you enjoy about Indeed Flex?
- 9 out of 10 of you find it easy to understand what’s expected of you on a shift. We believe that job descriptions are key to ensuring that shifts are successful, for both Flexers and employers.
- 86% of you feel that we’re trustworthy and provide the best experience in terms of getting instant access to work.
- 89% of you find the app easy to use.
What are some areas you think we can improve?
You want to see more shifts on the platform.
Getting consistent work for our Flexers is important to us – it’s our main aim. So, we get just as frustrated as you when those shifts aren’t around. As you may have heard, January is often referred to as the ‘low season’, simply because most of the industries we work with wind down after the festive period, due to reduced demand.
We know that this is difficult for those of you who are looking for more consistent work with us. To counter this, our Sales & Account Management team are working with our current employers to provide more consistent shift volumes and even longer-term work opportunities. This should result in more shifts coming up soon.
What’s more, as we move into March we’ll see a natural increase in shifts again due to the seasonality of consumer demand.
You want it to be easier to apply for and accept shifts.
Our survey showed that the current application process for shifts that aren’t immediately available to book can cause issues.
We’re currently working with our engineering team to improve the communications sent when applying for shifts to improve the process, and we’ll provide an update as soon as we have made these changes.
Flexer Facebook community
We were sorry to hear that 37% of you weren’t aware of our Facebook community, available to Flexers who’ve completed one or more shifts. We want to change that, and encourage you to join our Facebook community as a place to ask each other questions and learn from one another
We’ll be holding a live Q&A for our Facebook community on 20th February, hosted by our Flexer Experience team, and a variety of panellists, to help answer your questions.
We thank you for your valuable time in completing the survey, and congratulations to this month’s winner, Ajibola Omisakin, who was selected at random to win a £50 Amazon voucher.
It’s only through hearing genuine feedback from Flexers such as yourselves that we can grow, thrive, and do better you.
